Any experience with venom nitrous oxygen system???

Not at all, you just have to be careful using it.
You never want to hit the button unless you're WFO. If you engage it at anything less than full throttle, there's a possibility of a small explosion through the intake manifold. The easiest way to get around this is to have a microswitch on the thottle linkage that will only open the solenoid at full throttle.

Re: Any experience with venom nitrous oxygen system???
From what I understand the Venom system is about $1500 .
It is computer controlled and picks up info from the injector pulses. It can be configuerd in 3 ways linear, WOT and at a specifed rpm point. It sounds like the most fool proof way to do nitrous in an audi
Hope this helps

So you only use the FUN button when the boost comes on? How about between shifts?
Will it harm the engine? What is your thought about putting explosive funny gas in your trunk? Thanks for input, Jason.

Well, in my case, I don't lift off the gas between shifts when racing, so......
.....that is where a microswitch setup for the throttle linkage would come in handy for those who dont speed-shift.
When used properly, it really won't harm the motor. However, installing it wrong or using it improperly can result in catastrophic damage, although, a 50 shot really wouldn't cause a lot of harm if a problem arose.
And no problem at all about mounting the bottle in the hatch, that's where they belong:-)
