Default Hey steve, what's this pic got to do with an oil filter?

I've considered going to the K&amp;N too, cause I like the idea of the 1" nut on the end of the casing negating the need for an oil filter wrench.
I checked them out when I had the Miata, and wrote back and forth to the K&amp;N guy. They actually make the Mobil1 filter, but the casing has a higher burst strength and the nut/safety wire capability. Specs looked really good for filtration.

Default Oops! Missed the oil part.......K&N makes an oil filter?........>>

Don't think I'd use one if they did! Maybe he meant OILED air filter? Or aired Oil filter....dunno...

TT Stuff has them for a couple dollars more. I jsut wandered if they were worth it.

Default No Problems...but I suggest that you do not oil the top..or use the grease as they suggest..some...

...have fouled their MAF sensor with the grease on the lip near the MAF. Reoil very sparingly...and only on the intake side (bottom).
