Default Any reason to get the TPMS for Toyo T1-R?

TPMS = Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

I thought it would be cool to have it just in case. I think its only necessary for Run Flats, correct me if im wrong.

...I really need to get the new set of tyres on my TT SOOOn. Winter beater had an accident today... :'(( Details later.

TIA

cool factor high, but if you normally keep your pressure checked it's not necessary

Default It's not just for run flats. Minor pressure variations can cause gas mileage and handling changes.

A slow leak can go on for a long time and "ease" it's way in to a problem. As MarTT said, it's not necessary, but you should check pressure OFTEN. I don't now about you, but I rarely actually DO check my temps. A TPMS will check it for you on a continual basis.

I got a "SmarTire" system at Tire Rack. Unfortunately even after 2 years, I have yet to actually plug it in and use it...
