not really set
I don't have a specific time frame either, but I was interested in the certified warranty. That extra 2 years would help me feel more comfortable when purchasing, as I had a 2001 A4 before, and I sold it before the warranty was up to avoid having to pay the upkeep on the car. Since you have gone through this before, do you have any thoughts on certified versus not certified?

well... kbb says 23,500
and since its certified from a dealer, I'd expect to pay a little extra, if I go for it, I'd expect to pay about 23000 - 23500, although boardwalk is known to screw people time to time.

You should also plan a Timing Belt change on it if you go for it.
Including tensioner and water pump. That goes for ~$1000.
That said, I agree this seems (amazingly, actually, given the new price of these guys) a high price for this car. I personally would find a CPO car, so that major expenses like a new cluster (common $$$ failure) or failed timing belt (common $$$$$$$ failure if you go by the "recommended" 100k service interval) would be covered for 6 yrs/100k miles from when the car was sold as new. That is a real piece of mind for me on my car.
