Anyone know a good place in Danbury CT area to get brakes and timing belt done?
The stealership wants $1400 for the TB. And just over $1000 for front and rear pads and rotors.

A few options --->
If you're willing to drive a bit, check out Autofirme in Amenia NY (ask for Greg Hayman) or Klaus Garage in Hopewell Junction NY (Probably a 25 minute drive from Danbury in vicinity of I-84 and Taconic Pkwy).
You also have a few good shops in the Bridgeport area.

Right in Danbury near the DMV
is a great shop. Farnbacher Loles (203)628-8612. The specialize in Audi and VW. Ask for Peter.
I have used them for a new clutch and a troubleson misfire that another shop told we was a whole series of expensive parts. He solved the issue as an electrical ground and saved me a fortune. I will be back for more, for sure.
