Anyone know if radar detectors are legal in Vermont?...

Well, the scenery is beautiful so drink it in at normal speeds.
Besides, it's not that big a place although Stowe is at the northern end of the state (but not as far as Jay Peak!)
Why hurry? I've had a lot of experiences there and Vermont is well known for its multiple speed traps (especially in summer) so don't even bother.

as far a I recall, yes, they are. ever watch super troopers?>>>>>>
the movie is accualy pretty close to the reality. there is virtualy no crime, so they get bored, and well the movie tells the rest.
i lived there for 23 years. don't mess around near stowe or waterbury. "barne fife" is there hero, and they will pull over out of staters for any reason at all. but there is 1 good rule, from memory, theres a no chase policy past 120. but thats just from memory.

after 4 trips to Stowe in the last 8 months..i have seen ONE trooper. >>>
not that i doubt you. Radar detectors are legal in Vermont...troopers may look for it, and not like it...but there is nothing on the books for them being illegal.
