Loss with the Roadster? Does the extra weight of the softtop+mechanics really slow down the car a lot?

I don't really care... unless it's A LOT slower...
and I don't plan on doing auto-x so I don't really need to worry too much about the stiffness.
I just want a fun car for spirited driving.

Default I agree with Sue if you care get the Coupe. I think it is a .5 second difference. Were talking about

different cars though. The roadster is more about the open air and relaxed fun. If you plan on going onto the track, go with the coupe.

Default It's not "a lot" slower but a roadster is always a bit more flexible than its coupe siblings...

...given the increased structural integrity created by the roof.

The only way to know if it's too slow for you personally, however, is to get behind the wheel.

Good luck!

I think it's a right-wing, administration-drive conspiracy against roadster owners. Mine's damn fast
