Default Anyone know where I can purchase

different colored bullet type interior light bulbs (either online or retail)? Also, what size or bulb type would the ones in the VW be (in the top left of the pic below)?

Default You want blue? Ive tried red ones, my friend blue and the ones we picked up

SUCKED! Ive actually tried a few different brands and they didn't produce as much light as the stockers.. There is another way to do this, but uhmm.. Its a ricer secret..

Default Don't do the interior bulbs, LightWeight is right, they do suck...

I got the red for my A4 and it turned out pink! So what I did, was get some celaphane (sp?), which is basically clear red gift wrapping paper. And covered the inside of the lens with it. Then left the bulbs stock. Looks REALLY good and matches the red interior well.

So you need blue...I'm sure you can get that type of wrapping paper.

I have those LED ones and they suck majorly. Much less light than the stock bulb.

Default Well, I didn't necessarily want LED's, just the color.. so I might go back to

stock and use the celophane.

Default I just took out the bulb and painted it ......

with a few thick coats of permanent marker in red, and made a plastic strip that slides in front of the bulb in the housing (the visor light) and now everytime i flip it down it's just a nice red light, not too bright, just enough for me to see what it is i want to see
