Anyone removed a license plate holder?

I wanted to ask what you would use to get those rivets out that are holding the big black license plate holder on the car. Thanks!

Drill 'em out. Then push the remains of the rivet through the backside. This is what I did.

drill the rivets out....

you can buy a primed replacement piece at www.clairparts.com for less than $45.00

Sliding into a hill at 45 mph seems to do the trick.

Have the dealer..

order you a whole new part. Evidentally with the right tools that piece that it's drilled into comes out and they just replace it with a new one.
