Re: Hey, this is what I'm about to order, to replace my Yoko AVS ES-100s (which I don't like).
What didn't you like about the Yoko's. I have a set & they seem to get noisier every week. 10K miles Wearing pretty well though. Won't get them next time.

I only have about 500 miles on 'em, but their handling response seems muted...
... as in, the tires' handling is not sharp enough. When I make a quick move, for example, it feels as though the tail is lagging and swaying. Imagine a train, where the head of the train moves and the caboose follows a few moments later. Also, I don't think they have the road holding of my other tires. I'm comparing this to the response with my Pilot Sports and then my Yoko AVS Sports (both awesome tires, though the worn-out Yokos were as loud as Super Swampers...LOL).
The AVS ES-100s are seem like very good, long-lasting tires, and are smooth and quiet out of the box. However, I need a more aggressive tire. So I'm returning them and getting the Goodyears. I would never have considered Goodyear but for the outstanding reviews and nice rebate.
