You using the same valve and just add a washer ???

I do not have this valve, but here is what I know of it: There are two adjusters on the top of the valve, one for tension and one for the amount of blow-off/bypass. There should be a little "plus" and "minus" sign on the top of the valve. You have to adjust the correct **** to add tension so it is a little firmer. Good luck!
