APR stgIII+ arriving Tuesday the 21st...
And then my shop gets to bust their knuckles on it for maybe a week or so. Should be done in time for TT East. Hopefully there will be a few days to spare so that I can get everything broken in nicely and properly tweaked. I think my biggest concern right now is finding someone to fab a 15" section of 3" diameter pipe (including a 400 cell cat and a post-cat O2 sensor bung) to connect the downpipe to the exhaust. The shop doing the install does not have a mandrel bender. Anyone out there with a stgIII kit have suggestions or info in regards to this fabrication?

Try contacting>>>>
Mufflex in Trenton NJ.....you will need the specific info to have them create (they may not want to do it so you need to check) it as they are one of the best exhaust fabrication shops i know...
Now you know if it is ready for TTE i need to drive it! ;-P

I don't know if I'd do that...
But it's your call.
I haven't exactly been the poster child for a great shakedown experience, and granted, my kit is different than the off-the-shelf version, but it would be tragic if your car ended up not running right so soon before the event -- you wouldn't have the opportunity to fix anything.
I'm just sayin.... (and it's pretty out of character for me to be the voice of reason).

you must have missed my earlier posts regarding this...
I blew my turbo 10 days ago, so my car isn't running at all. I have no choice but to do the stgIII kit at this time. I'm pretty sure everything should be fine. just bolting up the standard no-frills stgIII+ kit.

right. has your install shop ever put in one of these kits?..... or have super knolage of how a TT works? if not good luck..... that kits a bit of a PIA to install. no instructons leaves lots left for interpertation....... make sure first thing u look over everything for missing parts...... if you want your car back on the road that fast, it helps to have all the parts i was missing nothing major but parts that were needed none the less.......
