Default APR vs. REVO

Has anyone used both of these? I'm going to choose one or the other within the next week or so, and would like some feedback (I know... search the forums. I have. I'm just looking for someone whose had both). I didn't realize APR was undetectable to dealerships until just now... The numbers posted by APR and REVO are very similar. I'm more inclined to go with REVO, but from what I've read, you don't really get your stock program back.

Default I'd suggest going with whichever place is closest to you...

For me, there's an APR dealer very close, which makes it hard to pass up.

Default 2nd...

find a dealer close to you, and if you're lucky to have both, go with the tuner you like more

Default Neither is undetectible by any means....

Every chip is detectable (except IBE, but that has its issues also).

Your best bet is to go with a good chip, get your ECU socketed so you can switch back and forth. Serial port programming is NOT all it's cracked up to be.

That said.. having run GIAC and REVO before... I recommend Dahlback.

Default Revo allows for a lot more customization, but if you don't know what you're doing...

You could seriously screw something up.

APR is a bit more conservative, but is pretty idiot-proof.

If you don't plan on playing with settings a lot, they're going to be pretty similar, and I'm going to have to give a 3rd to going to whatever place is closer.
