Hawk Performance Brake Pads - HPS Compound (set of 4 pads) for $89
... and:
Hawk Performance Pads HPS Compound (set of 4 pads) for $59.
both of these products list fitments for the tt. what am i missing?

answered by GkRiKoRi...go with the HPS compound, not plus >>
when cold, they need to be heated up slightly for the pads to grip, so don't be surprised after you put them in and take it for a drive.
I live on a slight incline, so when I come out of the driveway on a cold morning...I have to step on the brake a little more to get them to bite. But once it warms up a touch (even after coming out of the driveway) they grip nicely. Never had Mintex pads, but I did have Axxis pads that were similar to the Hawk HPS. I like them, so I put them on my allroad as well. Less dust...not graphite or black.
Make sure you use brake quiet on them so they won't squeel later when they get bedded in. The pads are easy to change...but haven't changed them on my big brakes yet.
