Anyone that thinks the pigboat is a decent looking car should not be in a TT IMO.

Default Turbo 4 against a V6 is a fair comparison

and once you get the weight up to around 3800lbs and add two doors you don't have a sports car anymore.

Default Here...

and several times since. At any rate, a lot of people are enjoying it, so re-posting it was a good thing.

https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1436719.phtml</a

Default yes, I agree to some extent, but we're talking 1.8 liter vs. 3.5 liter.

That's my arguement. Turbo or not, the 1.8 is half the size. I think that the TT makes much more of what it has than does the z.

Default Yes, being satisfied is where it's at!

People who spend their lives comparing spec sheets and comparing *numbers* will never be happy. Those, like you, who live their lives enjoying what they have are the true winners in life.

Read what I said about opinions..LOL.

Your's is lookin mighty big right now.

A PT Cruizer, that insidious Scion box car....now those are ugly. Myself, in general a lover of cars. You (JohnLZ7W)? Obviously a snob....

Default Apparently you have one too...

an opinion that is

I like cars. Just not bloated, ill proportioned, droopy looking cars.

I do find opinions on polarizing car designs to be really interesting tho. Most of us here would say the TT is one of the best looking cars on the road. Many would also agree that the latest Aston Martins are up there as well. Then there are these other polarizing designs (CTS, CLS, Crossfire, Elise and many others) that we seem to split down the middle on. At least we all still agree the Aztek is ugly

Yea, there are the polarizing cars (re opinion) and then the just plain flat out UGLY ones....often made worse because of horrific exterior color (like yellow)....PT Cruiser, Aztek....even the Prius is pretty darn fugly. Re us and our TTs, I see pretty much all of the little ones (Boxster, sc430, SLK320/350, Crossfire, Solstice....even the convert mini-cooper) as lookers.....in contrast, the Miata and Honda S2000 while not ugly, are boring..

Default it's actually not too bad except for the little wheels, and the really bad front end

ok yeah, that's fugly too. I have seen some tastefully modded Scion xBs that looked good tho.
