Audi TT Roadster 2001, Brakes squeal problem.

Need advice.
My Audi dealer says that it is normal for my brakes to squeal since the are metallic components.
It usually happens when backing up in my driveway and reaching the first stop sign in the morning.
Very loud noise! I am almost ashame owning a TT.People look at me like <you got a problem>.
All this started when i put on my winter steel wheels and tires with TT hub Caps, all purchased at an Audi Dealer. No Squealing with the Original Mags.
Is this normal? Have any other TT owners experience this problem?

Changing wheels and tires should have no affect on Brake squeal

Switch to a different pad like Mintex Red box or Porterfields

ask him if his car brakes squeal. I bet they don't.

Over torque the lugs can warp the rotors on a Miata. TT??

The dealer champhered my pads, no squeal now.

Well, you could show him this TSB on brake squeal ;-D That

said, I had rear wheel brake squeal, took off both rear wheels, cleaned everything very well with 3M brake cleaner and no more squeal...
