Default Autocross with the Audi Club SCC-------->

nothing like a club auto cross to really test out the Brembo's as well as good clean driving and socializing...about 30 cars show for the annual Audi Club SCC Angeles Crest drive to the Devil's Punch Bowl including a hand full of TT's, lots of A4's, an RS4, the new A5 and a few S4's including the one I was chasing all the way there...good turn out...we enjoyed 78 degree weather while the LA basin sweltered in 95+ heatwave...link at bottom for more Punchbowl info

being chased up the mountain by this A3..he stayed with me in the long straights but I could pull a little ahead in the twisties, if that S4 would just get out of my way..lol

Default SCC is planning two for later this year

that I am aware of.

--Buttonwillow (around September), is great to practice smoothness, lots of wide open space to use, fast corners. It has the most fun set of esses I have ever driven on a track.

--Spring Mountain (around November), a tighter track, very technical and one of my favorites, but for you it is a longer drive.

The SCC events are usually a little less populated than those of other chapters, so you get more track time. Last year at Spring mountain each run group got more than 5 hours of time over the course of the two-day event. Depending on where I end up moving I will *probably* only make one of these. From the instruction aspect they are very well put together; they are designed to help you learn skills useful for the street and track, not just to go fast.

Riccardo, Jerry, Robert, (possibly a few more people that were at the BBQ) and I instruct at the ACNA events.
