I was told by a dealer that the tt does not come in an automatic. Could someone verify this and let me know if the salesperson did not know what he was talking about.

The salesman is right... for the moment. I understand that the STT (300bhp car ; not sure if you will get that in the US)will probably (so says the salesman at my dealer) be tiptronic as standard...

People have seen TT steering-wheels with Tip buttons at the factory where the ordinary TT wheels are made. I'd guess it would come in one of the 180 models first.

And the STT? That was a hot rumor last winter/spring, since then it hasn't been as much as a whisper in the vine...
