Default Bad to upgrade springs and not shocks???
If I am looking to lower my car for merely aesthetic reasons and still want a decent ride, would it be bad to buy only springs and still use the stock shocks??? Any input would be appreciated.

Default Yes. Stockers are no good.. especially if lowering..
Since they will both be crap, and out of operating range.

Default Even more so at 21,000 miles...
Shocks also have an operating range, and lowering will take them out of that. 21k.. your shocks are probably worn.

Yes, I've personally had to replace the stock struts & shock a year after doing just Eibach.
