Default Best Snow Tires?

Well, i'm looking forward to my 1st New England winter and found out after a light dusting of snow we just had the TT doesn't TURN in snow! My assumption is its a tire issue (though the anti-lock brakes were going nuts also!). Are there any recommendations on a good snow tire? I would also need to know where (online is fine) to get them. I am in Connecticut.

Sorry if this has been asked before, my searh for "Tires" and "Snow Tires" here errored out.

Thanks

Default tirerack.com Am in CT as well. Have the Pirelli 210 Winter Asims.

Also, I went down to 16" wheel. Easy to have a dedicated set for winter. Call Tirerack, they'll give you suggestions. They may, however, be low on stock at this point. We have a good group in the Tri-State area that gets together for drives, lunches, etc. If you want, send me an email and I'll put you on my list.

Dunlop WS M2's working great for me in CT. "Best" is really determined by conditions in your area!

Thanks (to all) -

Tirerack.com is an excellent resource for information as well as tires.. I ended up looking at the comparison at http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/winter.jsp and it seems to bear out the majority of opinions here about the Dunlop Winter Sport M2s and the Pirelli Assimetricos. As it stands now i'm favoring the Dunlops. I have to actually buy 6 as the wifes new 330ci convertible needs two (gotta keep everyone safe)...

Thanks again
Gary

Where can these tires, and information on them be found?

Thanks
