Default blew a hose clamp at lunch today

<img src="http://www.senebphoto.com/Auto/TT/tt-blownclamp01.jpg">

It made the strangest metallic woosh promptly went into limp mode, and displayed the CEL. Funny though, I had to drive it a few miles home, and the stupid clamp was sitting on the valve cover next to the far left coilpack. I'm just glad it happened today and not on my way home from Oregon monday!

Think the CEL will clear itself, or might I need to grab an OBD II reader?

Default you can pull a couple fuses to clear the code...

don't recall which numbers, but the ones that say engine timing.

Had you tampered with that clamp? Hard to believe the OEM's would blow off like that...
