Default Blinker saga continues.....

Replace the fuse...tried blinkers...blew again. So...guess I have a short somewhere. But where to begin?? Again, this happened out of the blue. I havent done any work on the car in 6 months or so...and the blinkers have been working fine.

Default Man, that's a toughie

Does the fuse blow when you turn on the hazards? Or just when you turn on the turn signal? If the latter, then the short is likely in the turn signal switch. If the former, it could be a little tougher to track down.

Default Mine started acting up yesterday... Im sure its the relay because....

when i turn the hazards on then off again the blinkers work. Also, im hearing a lot of clicking like a relay trying to flip from that area, and when i put my finger on the hazard button, i can feel the relay spazzing out.... good luck with yours im not sure if its relay relay...ted

Have you checked the bulbs for corrosion at their base, or water?

Not at all strange. Blinker fluid contracts in the cold and most forget to top it off.

Default The blinker bulbs? No, I havent...Im running Bipes's LED system....

Guess I need to open them up and take a peek. Maybe Riso's side markers have something to do with it as well. Hmm....

Default could be a pinched wire...and hard to track down. both sides? or just one side?

i would look under the lower dash and by the blinkers itself...could the be rear or fronts...which is difficult to track down.
