Boost machine project progresses . . .
The <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1207363.phtml" target="_blank">last time I posted about my boost machine project</a> I was ready to tape up the fittings. As expected, taping and fitment went great . . .

so it was time to actually install this thing. The boost machine tucks in nicely next to the TTDA and I have it zip tied in for now. I'll fabricate a mount later.

The hoses connected easily . . . First test drive was late last night with the BM set conservatively (relief valve at full open minus 3/4 turn and the regulator valve open 3 turns) and the first thing I notice is boost comes on much sooner and much more smoothly. No big surge like I'm used to. After driving to work and back today I'm really liking the new feel. Much quicker onset of boost and very smooth. And guess what? I'm now at Modshack Stage III! (TTDA, **** and BM). One last thing I need to do is put a proper sized plug in the regulator. I stopped by MCPaudiTT's place this evening and picked up a new plug which will complete this install. I'll continue to drive at this setting for awhile, then adjust for experimentation.
