Default Borla catback exhaust for 1.8t FWD?

Is anyone running this exhaust? My brother in law is able to get a good deal ($600 purchase and install) for his 2000 TT fwd. He asked me about this exhaust and I don't really know much about the 1.8t engine and exhausts available for it. Does anyone use it? Anyone like it or have any thoughts on it? Thanks.

I'm running it and it works well. There are some others here with it, like Jim TT. I paid $433 = shipping from performance international, don't remember what the installation cos, but it sounds like you're getting a good deal. It looks good, sounds better, runs even better. The only other real option for FWD TTs is the MIlltek catback, but its almost 2x the price. No fitment problems, and it saves some weight over the stocker. Best thing you can do is run it in conjunction with a free-flowing downpipe, like the Techtonics - IMO.
