Default BOSE Question

I ordered the Audio package on my car (1.5 weeks more?!?!) and I'm cuious if anyone
knows if that head unit has RCA outputs ?

Anyone know if that unit is sold normally or is it just something for Audi ?

Thanks,

Take a look at this URL that someone posted here a while back.

Default Here's some info for you to ponder

As you'll find, the Concert receiver has true "line outs," but they aren't in RCA form. They're in the form of pins on the wiring harness behind the radio. People have spliced RCAs to the pins with varying success (search the Audiworld archives). The link below (to my post on the A4 forum yesterday) has several links containing information about the use of a Blaupunkt adapter which plugs into the harness to give you female RCAs. Additionally, I've listed several links regarding general information about the Concert receiver.
My next "task" is to determine whether we'll be able to order an adapter from Audi itself. Since the TTs Bose system uses an external amplifier for all audio channels, the receiver's signal, both front and rear, must be sent to the amplifier via an adapter connected to the aforementioned wiring harness. Thus, the part (theoretically) should 1) fit the harness properly, and 2) give two, properly grounded sets of RCAs.
And Steve, since you ordered the audio package, you will have this part and the Bose amplifier. Maybe you could "pull" the receiver and have a look for this adapter (here's how: https://www.audiworld.com/faq/faqs/faq8.shtml)? I know many of us would appreciate it.
