Well, it works. It was a different color, and was the one recommended here.

Note: The switch I removed was RevB with a black casing.Replacement is RevD with a lavender case.

Default My Audi dealer was out of them and referred me to the VW dealer.

Told me it was the same part and that VW had them in stock. I have not had any problems with mine since I replaced it.

Default As long as the part number (including suffix) is the same, then yeah. Audi and VW use lots of the

same parts. When this is the case, the part number is the same.

Default The letter suffix is not a revision. If it's different, the part is different. I've been

messing with VWs and Audis for many years now.
