Default Brake questions...

looked on the search w/out that much success. My questions are

1.) What pads are the best/least dust
2.) How many wrenches is a rotor job on a scale of difficulty from 1-5 wrenches ;-).
3.) How many miles out of stock front/rear?

I have 20k on my car now and think it may be time to do the pads at least, maybe the rotors if I feel up to it.

oh yea, thanks!

Default Here are some answers from my perspective.

1. Porterfields, hands down. www.myroadster.net.

2. About 2 1/2 wrenches with the right tools. Make sure you have an impact driver for unfreezing the screws in the rotors.

3. Depends on the kind of driving/braking you do. If you do a lot of highway miles, then not very often.

Definitely agree on the Porterfields, and I've tried EBC and Mintex pads previously.
