Brand new TT owner here!!!

Hello All. This is my first 'offical' AW TT post...'offical' now that I am the proud new owner of a 2002 Audi TT ALMS (avus silver)!
I joined the AW TT forum a few months back and asked a number of noob questions...as well as some advice on which TT I should choose for the price. I really wanted a CPO so I wouldn't have to be so worried about repairs, and had found 02 Lake Silver TT at a dealer. Sadly, they wouldn't come down near a resonable price, so I walked away. I was saddend to find out that a few weeks later that they dropped the price to within $200 of my offer, but never called me to tell me, and by the time I saw it online, it had been sold :^(
To my disbelief, one month later, I stumbled upon my new gem! I found the ALMS in San Fran CA, all the way across the country from my home in New York City, being sold by a private seller, who bought her (CPO'd from a dealer), with 9K and ran her to 30K with no probs (I got the full serivce history from the dealer he worked with). Best part is that the car still has 6 months of original Audi warranty, and then kicks over to CPO for 2 years. To top it off, the price was still less than I was going to spend for the Lake Silver!!!
As you can tell, I'm very excited...the TT is great and I'm in LOVE with my ALMS. The best part of the story is that after flying to San Fran to see the car (which is in perfect shape btw, not a scratch on her) I decided to take the opportunity to really get to know my brand new baby. I took the next 3.5 days to drive staight across the country...3000 miles to new york city. Unfortunatly, nor my friends nor girlfriends were able to take the time off to come, so I did it alone, but it was still amazing. I drove about 12 hours a day, never used cruise control once...and had an absolute blast! I love this car. Other than a terrible snow/ice storm in Wyoming, and a couple of close calls with the black and whites, the drive was great. I took the opportunity about halfway through Nevada to see what she could do....I lost my nerve at just past 130...(I gave in and backed down way before she did).
I really appreciate all the advice you guys gave a while back, and all the great info that this forum provides. I thought I'd tell my story, and show some pics of my new pride and joy. I look forward getting to know you guys.
BTW, I'm signed up to attend the NY 'Audi- Streets of Tomorrow' event, so if anyone is going, it would be cool to meet up. I'm thinking of signing up for TT East as well...seems like a great weekend.
Anyhow, thanks for letting me yammer on. I look forward to getting to know all you fellow FanaTTics :^)
