A buddy of mine just bought a 2000 180 TTQ Coupe Non KX/ZX. Should he do the recall/update?

I did it and I don't think I needed it in hindsight. If he will track the car a lot
then yes, depending on the track, i would get the spoiler. There was a downforce issue that I felt over 100MPH on a straight road. However my local QCUSA track (Roebling) does not have the length of straightaway to allow a 180 TT to go over 110 or so, a Q even slower.
I would say there is about 10% more understeer at the limits for the Mark II suspension to warn the driver. But for day to day? No problem, the crisp steering of Mark I is better.

Depends on who you ask.....I've got it all inc. ESP retro.....
recall stuff done at the factory. I'm very happy with the performance and looks. Also factor in future resale. Dealers, Kelly etc...value the updates. Some buyers may value the old but would/will they pay more for the car? I felt they helped high speed driving and esp completed the dash switches and for the price worth doing for resale and occasional stupid human driving tricks. Again, it's personal.
