Build update: Rear seat delete, JVC El Kameleon, Battery Relo
Well as I wait for my engine and turbo to arrive (having a 2.0 built) I am steadily working on other details to improve the TT. I purchased a Big Crank ETX30L battery and located it in the trunk.
I also removed the rear seat and built a deck and covered it with microsuede which I will most likely build in a sub and install an amp underneath.
Finally, I installed the new JVC El Kameleon head unit which looks simple & elegant and has some pretty great features.
I am afraid the more the engine gets delayed the more I change, I am currently toying with the idea of the GT3 seats (probably go with replicas)
Any other ideas or thoughts?

Wasn't bad at all neither was the cost...
Battery was about $75, the mounting strap was $12, and the wiring kit was $95 which included a resettable 150 amp breaker. I will probably wire a cutoff switch in at some point.
I would say you could do it all, including removal of existing battery in less than a half a day. I may end up doing a little write up for where to get the parts and where to run the wire, etc.
