Bumper problems
I split my ground effect right under the bottom grill (1 inch break showing...3 inches split underneath)...is there any effective way to fix this withiut having to replace then entire bumper?

Yes, it can be *glued* with epoxy or JB weld...
You can use epoxy to join the split.
Also, for re-enforcement, you could get a strip of fiberglass mesh (from an auto parts store) coat it liberally with epoxy, and place it on the underside of the grille, on top of the split. Remove the black mesh grilee pieces and you can see/get to this split or tear.
Use masking tape, or even duct tape to hold the glue in place.
It will work, I have done this with other urethan-type facias.

anyone else have the same problem
thank you. I hope it works..the only split that shows is about an inch long and so far down I think it would take a keen eye to see it. Has anyone else had problems with the ease in which these bumpers and ground effects seem to break?

If your talking about the front spoiler, then I cracked mine while going to fast up my drive way...
this was after Quattro Challenge on Sat. Im thinking of replacing it with a new front spoiler from Caractere. Probably a bit more expensive than, you wanted.
