Default buying out of state

does anyone have any information on buying a tt out of state? Have a chance to pick up a amulet red 180fw in houston but live in calif. Are they setup for calif emission? Also has anyone seen a red tt up close and what do they think?

I am not sure about out of state purchase, but I can tell you that I own an Amulet red TT and it is a very hot color. Also, you do not see many red TT's around. Mine is the only one in SoCal that I have seen so far. I would be more than glad to show the car to you depending on where in CA. you live.

They are NOT set up for CA emissions. If I remember correctly, you have to pay big $$ to bring in a new car from out of state unless you've just moved into CA yourself...

(I believe this was done at the behest of CA auto dealers, naturally; in fact most "49 state" cars easily pass CA emissions tests...)
