Default I was full of gas (ahem) so that's about 5 gal more = 40 lbs so......

I'm really close at 3442 lbs with driver and a full tank.
Thanks a lot John that confirms that part of the calculation.

Default Nice work!

FWIW, I think I recall playing around with polynomial trendlines but found that it affected "peak" numbers since it made the data TOO smooth. I wish there was some standardized performance comparison for "area under the curve". :-)

Also, if you are at all handy with GUI design/etc, feel free to make an easier to use version of this. Very few people (maybe 20-30) have actually used this method, presumably due to the clunkiness of all of the Excel manipulation.

Default One more thing ....

You should get a much faster sample rate by selecting only one measuring group while you are logging. I'd expect to see about 3 samples/sec that way.

Default You're absolutely right Andy......

The only way that I was able to increase my sample rate was by going to only one group (005). Changing the Blk Int from 55 to 25, and the Char Int from 1 to 0, had no effect on the sample rate.
I am going to send you an e-mail with Cruzad3s data which he sent me and you can see the difference between your "smoothing" approach and my velocity "fitted" approach.
I have run both 2nd & third gear tests and the HP & TQ increased from 221HP/195ft-lb to 227HP/228ft-lb respectively.
I have not run a 4th gear run because of the speeds required (if they catch me they would throw me in jail) but Cruzad3r has and he gets significantly higher HP & TQ values in 4th than in 3rd. Is this to be expected?

Default Thank you Andy.......

I'm not a computer geek. I can't even spell GUI. But if someone out there is handy with it I can help them. Everything I've learned about Excel & PowerPoint, etc. I've learned the hard way....Trial & error, with emphasis on the error.
