Can an APX Engine Code type be replaced by another code
I am currently searching for another TT engine since a Superchip blew mine up. ( new website under construction ).
I have sourced another 20V Turbo Engine which has the K03 turbo etc however the engine code is different. Will this be a problem mating it with my ECU which maybe programmed with the old engine code information. Would another re-chip solve this problem.
Any advice appreciated.

APX is not a familar code to me, that may be from an A4 or a Passat....
in which case, the block will fit but everything else will not like manifolds (exhaust and intake) A/C compressors etc....could be more trouble than it is worth.
ATC(TT), AWW(Jetta/GTI) or AWD(Jetta/GTI) are direct bolt ins..
AMU is the 225 (I think)
