Default can one of our australian cousins suggest...

...somewhere i can rent a tt (or similar, if i must slum it) in melbourne around march 1-5. i'll be in town for the gp and need some capable wheels...

Default I found one place that rents TTs and you might want to try some of the others as well:

They aren't cheap though.

When I went to Adelaide for the LeMans race the best I could get was a Volvo C70 Convertible.. NOT an excitement machine. Should have booked well in advance.
