Default Can some one help me on two error codes?

01539 - headlights not adjusted 35-00. i have aftermarket 50W HID ballast. does this have something to do with it.
Also, 00526 - brake light switch-f 27-10 implausible signal intermitant.

You disconnected the auto-adjuster on the headlights, and your brake switch is toast

Brake light swtich is a common failure on TTs and VW A4-platform cars.

so the auto adjuster it part of the factory ballast?

Local VW dealer keeps a case of brake switches next to the cash register.

It's part of the same electrical *connector* yes.
