Default Can you disable the traction control?

I have a 2000 180TTQ and looked at the Bentley CD manual to see what I could come up with for traction control. I found two solenoids that control traction control and that was about it. Has anyone played with the traction control or found ways to disable it? With ESP disabled, you can still feel the traction control kick in and kill power at times when you don't want it to.

Default pull the ESP and ABS fuses and unhook the lat and long sensors, that should do it...

it won't have any feedback to know where its going and how fast.

What are the "lat and long sensors"? I'll look them up in the Bentley but I'm still new to Audi so if you could point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks again for your help.
