Can you drive the car without the Airbag control module?
I want to send my module out to be flashed by airbagsystems this week. Can i remove it and just keep dealing with the air bag light? Would be nice to have no down time (aka my other option is to buy a new unit for around $600)

i have the same problem...but i heard the 'flashing' of it doesn't usually work.
lots of people say that it's a waste of money....do you think it's gonna work for yours, man? I'm not sure what to do about mine!

What happened to your AB module?
If the light came on due to cold, flashing it MAY work. i bought one of those VAG AB resetters from eBay and have used it several times with success. My light tends to come on during extremely cold weather, apparently around -15 or -20 f. It works like a charm.

Resetting Modules when they haven't been in an accident...Yikes!
Was your car in an accident? If not, there could be a host of other problems and you'll get your module back with the same issues.
Did you have your vehicle scanned (yourself or a tech)? If so, what were the results?
After receiving it back, did your light come back on? Man, I hope you had your original scan results. I know people probably told you: send it here, send it there, but there's a lot more to it...I hope you respond, I'm really curious.
