Default Cat-Back or Turbo-Back Exhaust???

What are the differences, performance? In a discussion with an WRX fan. I am sure you guys can tell me something.

Default here is the cliff notes

Catback: Is the pipe going from the catalyc convertor back, and legally you can change this pipe without any problems. All shops will install this for you.

Turbo back: is the entire pipe from the turbo to the cat to the catback. Nobody makes a pipe for the 225 TT but you can get it custom done and not many shops will be willing to help you.

The difference is performance is pretty big. Catback will yield maybe a 3-5hp at best while a turboback will yield a 5-15hp difference.
