check engine light on
After cleaning my airfilter with a k&n cleaner and re-charger, I got a check engine light. could the re-charger oil cause a check engine light to come on if the re-charger oil comes to contact the MAF sensor?

It is possible, go to Autozone and have them check the CEL.
Seems rather unlikely though, you would have to excessively overoil the filter. Check the MAF connector to make sure it didn't come loose in the process.
