Default Give Ultimate Paint Shop in Lake Bluff a call

@ (847) 295-7404. They do Audi and Porsche repairs and are excellent; they have a very close relationship with both the area Audi and Porsche dealers which makes it very nice for coordinating mechanical service associated with your car's body work. I've had them do a few things for me over the years including a major job on my A6 resulting from getting t-boned in an ice storm and their job was outstanding.

Check you insurance policy (or the other guy's???) very carefully as I do not think that it is lawful to require you to go to a certain body shop although I admit that I do not know anything about your situation!

Default 50 min or so and ...

they would probably drop you off at one of the Metra train stations to take back into the city. Also, they are open on Saturday mornings for estimates but call ahead so that they know you are coming.

Default IMHO, for a qualilty job & given how long typical job's take, location should not be an isssue.

Whatever you do, I would recommend that whomever you select should have solid experience with Audi's and if mechanical work will be needed, that they have also worked on TT's and have a relationship with a local dealer. You should also ensure that they have stellar recomendations from their customers. A bady body work job is a PIA to rectify and they happen every day.

Erie & LaSalle has good rep. Try Gold Coast Body, 1000 w. Division. They do Loeber work and they've done 2 good jobs for me.

Default I have had one major rebuild there on my cabrio that was hit by a semi and some minor work at Ultim

ultimate that has been nearly perfect. Very high quality work, and anyone that does major rebuilds of Ferrari's, Porsche's and Audi's can do my work. They are the preferred shop for the Exchange. Worth the trip.
