Cliff, did you see my TP update? I'm surprised it got such little response.

I saw it; I think everyone expected to have an update from TP on the road...
but I was happy to hear that he took delivery of the Roadster, and was on his way home. I am unable to share with you the disappointment that was written on Tom's face when the folks at Holbert told him the car wouldn't be delivered on Thursday, simply because I have no words that are adequate to the task. At one point, I told him to stop looking so mean. Not that he had no reason to. I felt so badly for him, partly because he wasn't getting the car that day, but mostly because I knew what a trial he was going to face getting back home on time to report for work at 6:00 am on Monday morning. I almost offered to help him drive out, but that was totally impractical...still he's the kind of guy that makes me wish I could have done more for him. Just a fine person. My thoughts go out to him on his long and lonely trek home...

Tom is a class guy, and it's been my pleasure to get to know him...
Tom is the only guy I know of, who has been able to ride with me without grabbing the door handle. This would do the Marines proud! (I don't exactly drive like a granny, as I'm sure he will tell you.)
I suspect that he'll be fine. Again, I don't want to speak for Tom, but the GM told me that his TT would be in by Friday, and it was. I thought picking up his expenses and driving down to get the TT were nice moves by the dealership
He's got a lot of terrain to cover in a short time, so I wouldn't be shocked if we don't get an update from him for a bit.
