Clutch replacement
I was wondering what the typical clutch life is for the quattro cars. Also I know this is a dumb question but is the 50,000 mile service still free? I am going to have the timing belt / water pump replaced soon (I am going to San Jose for several months and the car is staying in Minnesota) and was wondering if I should have the clutch done too.

Re: Clutch replacement
Isn't the timing belt normally replaced at 90K miles? The average driver should get over a 100K miles on a clutch, but it all depends on your driving style. I've seen guys replace their clutches after 10K miles because of a lot of drag racing.
