Default It's not "hard" but you need the right tools. Alternatively, I can do an install for you.

I have two options: DIS and DAT

DIS: If you can be without your car/suspension a few days, you can send me your arms, and for $133 including shipping back to you, I provide a service to put the DEFCONs in your arms (DEFCON parts cost is in addition to the $133).

DAT: If you don't have that kind of time (if your TT is your daily driver and you are doing an install over a weekend, for instance), I can send you a set of arms with the DEFCONs already installed, and you would need to send me your arms back when you are done with the install. This needs tight coordination, so e-mail me if you are interested. Cost is higher for this option.

https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1600835.phtml</a

What will be coming.. From my understanding there is a Defcon 1-4 and all that..

Kind of confused.......

Default Not sure what your question is. You tell me what DEFCON level you want (in this case, 1, 2, or 3)

and I will send you a pair of control arms with the DEFCONs and all the bushes installed. The means you will have a complete set of front arms ready for installation in your car.

Remove the front lower control arms on your car (2 bolts, three nuts each), put the arms I sent you in (30 min of work). Box up your old arms and send them back to me (core exchange). It will take you longer to box up and print a shipping label to return your arms than it will to get DEFCONs in your car.

Default 2 questions: 1. Should corner balance be done with driver in car? 2. Does space between each wheel

and fender arch look noticeably different?

I strongly recommend having Mike install DEFCONs for you. DIS or Dat trump finding a local shop.

Default The actual driver is not required, but a surrogate (weights, bags of something) should be in the car

to have it properly weighted. You should also shoot for a half tank of gas. If you are targeting track use specifically you could also lighten as you would for the track (carpets, spare tire, and jack out, etc.). If it's more for normal everyday use, don't go to that extreme (and it likely makes very little difference).

Heights might be 1/4-3/8" different, but you would need to go side to side (specifically looking) or measure to tell the difference.
