Default Coke bottle resonance sound at cruising speed? anyone still got it... NO NOT A DV problem or TURBO

I get some weird resonance at cruising speed around 55-70 mph. I had some noise before which was caused by a bad drive shaft bearing. but this time noise only comes at cruising speed.
anyone get similar??? I'm living with it for now till gets louder

Default Does the gear make a difference?

What happens if you just lightly rest your foot on the clutch? Meaning press it in just that little bit before resistance. Does the noise go away?

Default questions . . .

Dave

you said at crusing speed you hear the noise. Then if you depress the clutch fully the noise is still there, correct? If yes, then what I am asking is something different.

While cruising with the car in gear, just rest your foot on the clutch pedal, leaving the car in gear. Does the noise go away? There is a difference between depressing the clutch and resting your foot on it. Different noises can occur or go away. That's why I asked.

Default Yes...

I'm getting what I would describe as a droning sound right at 55 mph. I think it's in the drive line, since it's independent of gear selection, road surface, or whether the clutch is in. I also have a deceleration vibration/drone as the car drops down through 3k rpm. My guess is that it's in the dual mass flywheel. I'm going to address this at my 20k which is coming up soon.

Yes, via my AC. Another "couldn't replicate complaint" for 2 years.
