Default Coolant leak update----Nothing serious

Always seem to expect the worst after a track day. Ok this time. Plastic coolant manifold at rear of engine block has a tiny crack. Failure coincidental. Seems others have had failures at about 90000 mi.

I still need to research that after run coolant pump scenario. It ran after I switched the ignition on and off this AM. After I ran the engine for five minutes and switched it off, pump didn't run???????

https://forums.audiworld.com/tt/msgs/1724277.phtml</a

Default That's exactly where my coolant leak was last month...

Not only did the pipe crack, but an associated hose in the nearby area also was toast. Glad you got it fixed.
