Could a code P0411 be caused by a sticky Forge 007P DV? ....
....I've had a cel for about a week and had the code read at Autozone today.
The results:
P0411 secondary air injection system fault.
Probable causes:
1. Circuit relay defective or fuse open
2. Check connector and wiring
3. Air pump defective or hoses blocked
I've had the Forge 007P for two years, but have never lubed it. Don't shoot me! I need to get some synthetic grease.
Just wondering if the DV is the first place to look as I start tracking this down. btw..I searched on P0411 and came up with DV as one possible cause, also: combi valve, hoses, relay, & air pump.
One other thing, but I don't think it would be related...the dealer overfilled the oil a couple of weeks ago when they also stipped the oil pan drain hole threads. I only put about 10 miles on it before I took it back in for the oil pan replacement (at their expense). The oil level is correct now, but I'm wondering what could have been messed-up by the overfilling.
TIA

I hope it's just the DV piston needing some lube...
All of the hoses and connections seem fine and look good, but it's hard to see tiny cracks, I guess.
Now I need to read-up on how to lube the DV.
