Well, I am still having issues with hard sputtering at high throttle (turbo engagement) and I have eliminated a few things. I spoke to another mechanic who took a look and stated it was not my coilpacks or plugs but a throttle cut off issue.

I also spoke with Rich at dubwerks who is certain it is not the giac software, and suggested placing in a new coolant temp sensor. I installed it last night and still having the same issues.

I am going in circles a bit here and think it may still be the MAF, I'll try unplugging it again to see if stock mode will help. It feels ignition based to me rather than air restrict based. I feel some serious cut-outs!
Any other suggestions before I suck it up and take it to the stealership?

A bit of background-
GIAC Flash loaded
VTDA Installed
New NGK plugs installed same time as VTDA
.28 gap
New DV Value
New Collant temp sensor

Default without checking for error codes, there's no telling...

did you get a CEL or even a flashing CEL? it sounds like a typical coilpack issue and you would have misfire codes thrown. Otherwise it could be a fueling issue. Stuck or clogged injector, weak fuel pump, clogged fuel filter.

Unless you are using 1 range colder plugs - gap should be 0.28 on those
