Default coupe

it looks better (subjective i guess but that roofline is just so sweet), it's lighter and stiffer. you can haul more stuff in it. i think all the roadster has going for it is the convertible appeal which wasn't very important for me anyway.

Default What's with the shouting? Get the Roadster. Or coupe. Or Roadster...

This is a totally personal decision. Where do you live? The trade-offs should be fairly obvious between coupe and Roadster. The Roadster is about 250-300 lbs heavier than the coupe. I have the Roadster and the luggage volume sucks (I can't even get my golf bag in the trunk), but the fun of having an open-air car is well worth it to me. I'm crazy about my Roadster.

Default some go from Roadster to Coupe, some from Coupe to Roadster

I had a Roadster for 3yrs and loved it but decided it was time to make the switch and get a coupe. Much happier (lots more room) and a few other benefits..

Either one will be a joy to drive and own

Default Depends on your needs

I went to get a Coupe and walked away with a Roadster after test driving both. Coupe has more room but I love the Roadster with the top down.

The trunk is pretty small in the Roadster so don't expect to carry too much. If the Coupe had a moon roof option it might have been a different decision but I have no regrets going with the Roadster.
