Default Coupes vs. Roadsters (World War TT)

i say Coupes all the way!!! sometimes you gotta be a badass. Roadsters are nice and cute for the simple people. The ones who dream of walking a beach under a night sky. No offense, i like you people with roadsters, you make my day a bit 'happier'.

Coupes are for the people who drive the chaotic twisty turns around the ocean shore at the tip of mountain roads.....at breakneck speeds. The people who drive coupes make my day more *sinister*.

is the Roadster alot noisier inside than a coupe?? i have test driven it, but not for an extended time.

bring it on you scrappy Roadsters!!! haha

Default A short coment..

I think you misspelled "badass". According to Webster's, it's "dumbass", and there's a picture of YOU!

Now then, on the semi-serious side, I can't complain about the noise so much since I installed a headliner. The car is tight enough to keep out the weather, yet allow me to enjoy the wind and sun whenever I want (I'm a former motorcycle rider - instructor). And as far as the twisties go, bring 'em on!! My smile is just as big as yours, dude!!

Default You're missing all the stuff overhead.

<center><img src="http://email.net/~scott/TT-Scott/TT108.jpg"></center><p>
And all the wonderful smells of nature.
And all the sounds of wildlife.
And all the sunshine.
And all the wind through your hair.
Oh, and chicks dig roadsters.

Default :-) Traditions. for some of us is about old fashion sports cars

Yes coupes are faster, handle better but in the end Roadsters are what sports cars are all about.
Call me old (35)I had had my share of Coupes (Porsche and BMW) but none as much fun as my TTR
This vehicle brings me back to my days in the TR6.

So while you fly by me on your coupe I'll sit back put on some Lenny Kravitz and enjoy the scenery.

It's all good!!!! enjoy your coupe.....

Default Ive had both TT225 coupe and now have 225 roadster/..

Stock coupe is only half a sec faster, big whoop.
chip and exhaust they are all the same. as far as noise, of course your gonna "hear" more with the roadster,, does one really care though? I actually think its a more "road " experiance that way. As far as speeding down the road, twist, turns, etc, bla bla, I can do it in either one, so whats the big deal.. I gotta say after owning both,, DEF the roadster grabs the attention,I had the "girls" liking the coupe, but once I got the roadster they were in awe!
To drive in an "open" car is a total diff experince.

AND No i didnt do it for the girls,, But hell it sure helps!

Its actually funny, in the summer time when I am at an outdoor club or bar or whatever, especially on the island(ny) there will be the lot of benz, bmw's porsche, etc once I come strolling in with top down and those 2 roadster bars gleamin guess whos car gets the heads turned. I mean I will be parked w/top down next to a 80K benz, and people just walk right by it like its invisible and are just drawn to the TT roadster
